To take on its rivals in the data market, Airtel has announced a new offer for its broadband subscribers. The new offer is called “Airtel Big Byte offer”, users can avail as much as 1,000 GB of free internet data. The offer was first brought on March 31, 2018, but it has now been extended until October 2018.
Under the Airtel Big Byte Offer, the telco offers 500GB to 1000GB additional data for those who have subscribers to the monthly rental plans starting Rs. 699 and going up to Rs. 1,799 in Mumbai. Likewise, in Delhi, the broadband plans ranging from Rs. 899 to Rs. 1,299 are eligible for this free data offer. The additional data, which Airtel offers will have the same speed as the base plan and will range from 40Mbps to 100Mbps.
Customers who have subscribed to Airtel’s DSL service on or after June 2017 will be eligible for the Airtel Big Byte Offer. The additional data offer is only applicable to those who take fresh subscription to Airtel’s select DSL plans. Also, the offer can only be availed with an online purchase. The ‘bonus data’ is offered over and above the base plan quota in each plan.
To avail the offer, users will have to visit airtel.in/broadband page. Here, select the plan that suits your needs, then enter details such as your building name, city, your name and contact number. Alternatively, you can also call the company’s helpdesk for subscription. Once the process is complete, the additional data benefits will be applicable after seven days from activation.
